Vhong Navarro and Cedric Lee, who are still locked in a legal battle, reportedly had a chance encounter on the night of Thursday, November 20 in Bonifacio Global City.
Journalist Tony Calvento said in his Facebook account that Vhong attended the inauguration of Valkyrie Nightclub upon the invitation of fellow “It’s Showtime” host Vice Ganda. Cedric also went to the club because his friend was said to be one of its owners.
“Cedric Lee was not in the guest list so Vhong acceded to Vice Ganda’s invitation. He was with two companions. Apparently, Cedric’s friend is one of the owners of the club which Vice is also an investor,” Tony posted.
He claimed that “there were no untoward incident” during the night.
Tony then denied that Cedric tried to sit on the Showtime table where Vice, Vhong, Billy (Crawford) and the rest (of the "Showtime" hosts were.
"He did not even try to talk to Vice while Vhong was there,” Tony said.
It will be recalled that Vhong filed charges of serious illegal detention against Cedric, who posted bail last September.
