Herrell almost went down on her knees when she was announced as this year’s winner.<br />

She was also crying when Miss Earth 2013 Alyz Henrich was passing on the crown to her.<br />
<br />
Aside from Herell, Anastasia Trusova of Russia, Maira Alexandra Rodriguez of Venezuela and Andrea Neu of USA won Miss Earth Fire, Miss Earth Water and Miss Earth Air respectively.<br />

Passengers at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 were surprised Monday as some 100 ground staff of Cathay Pacific Airlines performed a flash mob dance at the departure area of the airport.<br />

Cathay Pacific Airlines ground personnel manning the check-in counters and customer service staff performed the 7-minute dance number while still in their Cathay Pacific uniforms.<br />

Many passengers were delighted and recorded the event as the Cathay Pacific staff sang and performed before them.<br />

Giving thanks for the Creator’s gifts had always been a part of Wampanoag daily life. From ancient times, Native People of North America have held ceremonies to give thanks for successful harvests, for the hope of a good growing season in the early spring, and for other good fortune such as the birth of a child. Giving thanks was, and still is, the primary reason for ceremonies or celebrations.<br />

As with Native traditions in America, celebrations - complete with merrymaking and feasting - in England and throughout Europe after a successful crop are as ancient as the harvest-time itself. In 1621, when their labors were rewarded with a bountiful harvest after a year of sickness and scarcity, the Pilgrims gave thanks to God and celebrated His bounty in the Harvest Home tradition with feasting and sport (recreation). To these people of strong Christian faith, this was not merely a revel; it was also a joyous outpouring of gratitude.<br />

At first, they were being recorded by their friend reaching for something on the roof. One of them is carrying the one climbing on the roof of a gazebo and reaching for something. Suddenly the towel of the one carrying the guy slipped and to his panic because, he forgot that he was carrying his friend. His friend fell and slipped on the wooden floor of the gazebo with a loud crash until finally dropping on the lake near the gazebo. He looks fine in the end of the video but it surely was not entirely painless with the loud crash that was heard.

This video was shared for more than a thousand times and was also viewed for more than 23,500 times already on Facebook.

Last November 18 2014 I was shocked to hear the sad news that my dear friend Kat and her long time boyfriend Julio had a worse motorcycle accident which had led them to their death-together. This happening taught me so many things and urged me to write this post to share my thoughts with  you.<br />
<br />
Kat is one of the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She has these sweet charming eyes that could melt you down, shiny lips that  always paints a smile and rosy cheeks that always turns red. Kat is a sensitive girl. She cries easily, laughs easily and falls in love easily. She always sees the good in everything and in everyone that  is why she could make friends with everybody and appreciate the good side rather dwell on the bad side of people.<br />
<br />
JR on the other hand belongs to the goons of our high school campus. You cannot imagine them being together with Kat being a silent sweet girl. I think she is too sensitive to have a relationship with a typical playboy. :-) Yet Julio was also a leader like Kat and Kat never missed to see this good side of his.<br />
<br />
It all started with a “Hi Kat!” from Julio when we were walking on the path walk right in front of the teacher’s office. What Kat heard was not Julio’s voice but cupid’s arrow striking her straight to the heart! They started texting however at that time Julio was still in a relationship with one of our classmates. That  is why Kat was hooked in the theme song “Borrowed Time” by Cueshe because they were just borrowing the happy times that they had spent together in the pavilion  at the back of the school building. Well, well God always has his creative ways of bringing them together and giving them the time that is exclusively theirs. Eventually they started this great  journey of being together as boyfriend and girlfriend. -and the rest  is history-<br />
<br />
The last time I saw Kat we were talking about when we will both get married and she said that she would want to be married at 28. I jokingly answered her that i’ll be dead by that time and I could still remember how she laughed. The last talk we had was just about her posts where Julio sends her gifts all the time. I jokingly told her that she should take it down because many girls envy how she is loved and how she loves his BF.<br />
<br />
And now they have embarked on another journey where they could even love each other more. Last November 22, 2014 5pm, JR and Kat was blessed by an officiating priest to be together in love. It was our first time to feel two couples being wedded after death. 4 hours before the ceremony started our elementary and highschool classmates gathered together to witness the blessing of the so-called wedding that they had. Instead of being sad and devastated, the environment was so happy that JR and Kat looked really beautiful and handsome. I know that they were looking down and following the ceremony that we were having. As the mass started, I just closed my eyes and imagined Kat in that stunning wedding gown and Julio, teary-eyed, waiting to have her bride on his arms as his wife.<br />

Justin Bieber is the highest-earning entertainer under the age of 30, according to Forbes.<br />
The controversial musician earned as much as $80 million during the 12-month period between June 2013 and June 2014, in part thanks to the final part of his money-spinning world tour.<br />
<br />
Despite his impressive earnings, Justin has endured a turbulent year, which included having to pay a $10,700 bill for abandoning his pet monkey in Germany.<br />
<br />
The 'Believe' hitmaker landed himself in trouble with authorities for illegally bringing his pet primate Mally into the country without the necessary paperwork or vaccinations.<br />
And instead of producing the necessary documents, he chose to leave the pet behind.<br />
<br />
As a result, he was asked to cover the monkey's cost of living at a shelter for 17 months, as well as his import.<br />

Meanwhile, the Forbes top ten features eight other musical acts, including One Direction, Taylor Swift and Rihanna, while 'Hunger Games' star Jennifer Lawrence is the only name from the world of cinema.<br />

Vhong Navarro and Cedric Lee, who are still locked in a legal battle, reportedly had a chance encounter on the night of Thursday, November 20 in Bonifacio Global City.<br />
Journalist Tony Calvento said in his Facebook account that Vhong attended the inauguration of Valkyrie Nightclub upon the invitation of fellow “It’s Showtime” host Vice Ganda. Cedric also went to the club because his friend was said to be one of its owners.<br />
<br />
“Cedric Lee was not in the guest list so Vhong acceded to Vice Ganda’s invitation. He was with two companions. Apparently, Cedric’s friend is one of the owners of the club which Vice is also an investor,” Tony posted.<br />
He claimed that “there were no untoward incident” during the night.<br />
Tony then denied that Cedric tried to sit on the Showtime table where Vice, Vhong, Billy (Crawford) and the rest (of the "Showtime" hosts were.<br />
"He did not even try to talk to Vice while Vhong was there,” Tony said.<br />
It will be recalled that Vhong filed charges of serious illegal detention against Cedric, who posted bail last September.<br />

MANILA - Cristine Reyes and the father of her first child, mixed martial arts fighter Ali Khatibi, are now undergoing marriage counseling, according to the actress.<br />
<br />
Reyes, 25, ended months of speculation on Sunday when she announced on the concert variety show "ASAP" that she is expecting a baby. Only hours later on "The Buzz," Reyes said in a live interview that her first three months had been critical.<br />
<br />
She stressed that she never denied nor attempted to hide her pregnancy, explaining she had been advised to have bed rest due to her condition during her first trimester.<br />
<br />
According to Reyes, she and Khatibi planned the pregnancy and were, in fact, dismayed when the results of the test initially showed negative. "Nung gabi nag-test ulit kami, positive na. After that, ang inuna namin 'yung family namin. They were happy and excited," she said.<br />
<br />
The Filipino-Iranian Khatibi, 31, is reportedly a fighter in the Universal Reality Combat Championship, a mixed martial arts league in the country. He is said to specialize in Brazilian jiu jitsui. Also a model, Khatibi appeared in the pages of Cosmopolitan Philippines' "Bachelors" issue in 2013.<br />
<br />
Reyes, who attends the same Christian church as Khatibi, said they agreed to take up marriage counseling "in preparation for the marriage and para meron kaming heads up."<br />
<br />
"Hindi lahat kailangan biglang ikakasal na agad. Kailangan meron kang knowledge about it, kailangan prepared," said Reyes, who has become increasingly open about Khatibi on her social media accounts.<br />

If you give me an episode with Carol and Daryl on a mission, I'm pretty much guaranteed to enjoy it. When the episode opens with a montage of Carol's life since she left the group and little bits and pieces of her activities since reuniting with her old friends, that's the sort of beginning that pulls me in immediately. Carol is the strongest character on the show, she's the most interesting character on the show, and she's the phoenix that has risen from the most ashes without becoming a caricature tough girl. And when you team her with Daryl, she's got someone just as strong and capable at her side, which is all she needs to do great things with a showcase episode.<br />

Consumed is a surprisingly compact episode. There's very little flash, all things considered, aside from the standard zombie hack and slash stuff. It's more a mystery story peppered with lots of little flashbacks about what Carol's been doing and how Carol has been adapting to her new world. We see her racing back from exile to check on the gang at the prison when she sees those telltale flames, which matches one of writer Matthew Negrete's big ideas in this episode: the old ways, the old Carol, the old Daryl, the old life keeps getting burned away and replaced with something different.<br />
<br />
<br />
Carol has lived multiple lives since the outbreak of the zombie apocalypse, and with each death, we get a resurrection—a different, stronger, perhaps better Carol. The prison fire is the first big signifier, but we also see her and Tyreese burying Lizzie and Mika, Carol driving away from Rick, Carol burning the bodies of Karen and the other guy in the prison, and Carol watching Terminus burn due to her actions. She moves slowly from passive witness to active participant, and with each fiery end comes a new Carol and a new direction for The Walking Dead (every season ends with something massive on fire, typically the showrunner's contract).<br />

Fire cleans, but fire also scars, and no two characters are as heat-tempered or as emotionally dysfunctional as Caryl. That's why they're such a phenomenal team; they've both completely dropped the old ways, and they did it well before everyone else around them, meaning they're very well adapted to the after-zombie life, and they're especially good at this skulking and stabbing act in this episode. They move from building to building, tracking the mysterious car with the crosses in the windows through a bombed-out, zombie-invested Atlanta. Along the way, in between stabbings, they discuss what they've been through, where they're going, and just why they continue to keep doing what they're doing. It works in a way the show's talkier scenes have rarely worked, if only due to strong characters and strong performances. It also helps that it makes sense in the structure of the plot, since hunting—be it human or otherwise—is time-consuming, boring work punctuated by intense periods of action.<br />
<br />
The action, as always, is top-notch. Not only do we get a horde of zombies fought off with knives, we also get one of the show's funnest/funniest moments, when Daryl and Carol crawl into a teetering van and take the quick way down off the interstate. The fight itself, a claustrophobic montage of zombie hands and feet and bodies and noise, is really well done by Seith Mann, the episode's director. Mann wrings a lot of tension out of the search and the trip between buildings, and when it's time to execute something action-related, it explodes rather than trickles. Then he throws a van off a bridge into a vacant lot, and we get a great shot from the inside of the vehicle as it falls and lands, more than worth the cost of destroying an old Ford, a GoPro, and the seriousness of the episode via falling zombie meat-bag rain (I laughed out loud like a maniac as the bodies splattered all around them).<br />

MEXICO CITY -- Jessica Eye and Leslie Smith engaged in a spirited slugfest for the better part of the first round, until a right hand by Eye landed squarely on Smith's left ear in the waning seconds of the round on the preliminary card at UFC 180 Saturday in Mexico City Arena.<br />

It split Smith's ear open, sending blood pouring out and covering the side of her face. In between rounds, doctors took a long time to look at the ear and opted to allow Smith to continue.<br />
<br />
But not long after the second began, the fighters clinched and Eye then connected with a couple of short rights from close range that opened it again. After another Eye right, referee Herb Dean called time to have the doctors examine it again when the ear was flapping down.<br />
<br />
When it was shown on the gigantic video board in the arena, the crowd let out a loud "Ewww!"<br />
After an examination, Dean stopped it on the advice of the ringside physicians. Smith angrily protested, but Dean had no choice but to stop it at 1:30 of the second, giving Eye the TKO victory in the women's bantamweight bout.<br />

Smith was competitive and landing good shots of her own, but the risk to her health was too great to allow the fight to go forward.<br />
"When I connected and saw her ear blow up, that became my main target," Eye said. "I was going to keep hitting it until they stopped the fight or it fell off. My goal is to be the first girl in the UFC to get a knockout win. I know I’ll do it. Now I’ve climbed another rung on the ladder, and I’ll look around and see what my options are, but 'Im almost to the top."<br />

Microsoft is making it even easier for developers to build Android apps using the company’s own development tools. In a set of broad developer-focused announcements today, Microsoft has launched a preview of an Android emulator that will let developers build and test apps for Google’s platform. The emulator is part of Microsoft’s Visual Studio 2015 release, and it will support a number of features designed to help developers emulate a real device. It’s a surprise move given the many third-party alternatives, but Microsoft seems to be serious about offering developers the ability to properly build and test apps for Android.<br />

In a separate and significant announcement, Microsoft also announced it’s open sourcing .NET, the company’s core software framework. Microsoft will make .NET cross-platform on OS X and Linux, alongside a release on GitHub. It’s arguably a move the software maker could and should have made many years ago, but it’s a significant change that developers will embrace.<br />
<br />
Microsoft is clearly hoping its open sourcing of .NET will help attract more developers to its own technologies, and help the company work with the wider industry. It’s also yet another of example of how the company is changing and moving away from its founding idea that consumers should pay for software.<br />
<br />
Finally, Microsoft is also creating a new Visual Studio Community 2013 app that’s a free and fully featured version of Visual Studio. Developers will be able to advantage of extensions and support for building apps across multiple platforms and devices. While Microsoft has offered free versions of Visual Studio before with Express editions, the Community version will eventually replace those and offer a lot more functionality for free.<br />

In the pictures, Traffic Enforcer 3 Fernando Gonzales, 51, is seen selling rice cakes to motorists along Edsa.<br />
Gonzales was reportedly shaking in fear when he was summoned by MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino to his office after the photo of him selling kakanin had gone viral.<br />
Gonzales said he wanted to take a leave of absence for fear of being punished by his boss.<br />
Instead of a reprimand, Gonzales became teary-eyed after the MMDA chairman praised him for working hard and for being a good example to other traffic enforcers.<br />
Tolentino said Gonzales is a good example to fellow enforcers, as he has a clean record during his 20 years on the job.<br />
"Magandang ehemplo sya, maituuring na huwarang lingkod bayan," said Tolentino.<br />
Although some criticized him for selling the snacks during work others praised him saying Gonzales is looking for honest ways to augment his income instead of resorting to extortion.<br />
"Actually po di ko naman po isinasabay sa trabaho. During day-off ko lang po ginagawa, tuwing Saturday o Sunday. Monday to Friday, puro trabaho po yun," explained Gonzales.<br />

Power Couple Jimmy and Kring won the public votes, 56.8 percent against couple Chad and Sheela.<br />
<br />
Aside from the dream wedding, Jimmy and Kring will get honeymoon package, a negosyo package worth P1.5 million, home appliances, P1 million, and house and lot.<br />
<br />
It was announced that the Grand Wedding is set on next Saturday (Nov 15) after “The Voice of the Philippines” on ABS-CBN.<br />
<br />
The Saturday’s episode also unveiled how the couples and their lives have changed since leaving the “I Do” village, as well as the scenes behind Jimmy and Chad’s surprise marriage proposal to their girlfriends.<br />
<br />
After learning the importance of family on “I Do,” Jimmy took a trip to Korea with Kring to see his mom after more than a decade.<br />

Leah Patricio made Coaches Sarah and Lea turn with the song “I Will Always Love You.” Leah, without batting an eyelash, went for Coach Lea’s team because Lea has always been her idol.<br />

Miro Valera rocked The Beatle’s “Ticket to Ride” and wowed Coaches Lea and Bamboo. In the end, Miro went for Coach Lea because she can teach him what he still needs to learn with his craft.<br />

Monique Lualhati, of singing group AKA Jam, sang “When I Was Your Man” and Coaches Sarah and Apl both turned for her. In the end, Monique went with Coach Sarah because they are in the same musical genre.<br />
<br />
Last but not the least is Jason Dy who sang “Stay With Me” so beautifully that Coaches Sarah, Apl and Lea all wanted to be his Coach. In the end, Jason chose to be in Sarah’s team because he feels she could lead him where he wants to go in his music career.<br />
